Milestones

• In 1996 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band was founded.

• In 1999 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band released its first CD: Brass by the Bay.

• In 1999 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band played in the Gettysburg, PA Brass Band Festival.

• In 2000 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band released Holiday Brass on CD.

• In 2001 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band released American Pride and Swinging Brass on CD.

• In 2002 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band played for The Association of Concert Bands 24th annual convention in Fairfax, Virginia.

• In 2007 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band competed in the NABBA contests for the first time, in Louisville, KY, finishing 6th in their division.

• In 2008 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band played for The Association of Concert Bands 30th annual convention in the Corning Museum of Glass Auditorium, Corning, NY.

• In 2009 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band released Brass Under Glass (recorded live in 2008 in Corning, NY) and On the March on CD.

• In 2010 The Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band won Second Place in the North American Brass Band Association Competition in Raleigh, NC.
